Oh this FLESH!
It’s like a mesh that hinders the movement of my soul
Every stutter and choke is taking it’s toll
I kept seeking things without love and fell
But He tells me seek me and all things will be added as well
So in love I abide and in Him I confide
Tell him that I died but now I’m alive
Because I failed when I tried so in grace I’ll rely
Trusting in His might and keeping Him in my sight
Turn my eyes upon Jesus away from all else
Cause when I look away from You my true joy melts
Remembrance of testimonies is what gets me through
And your mercy that lets me return to You
All I can say is two words - so few
Simple but expressive these words: thank You
